Shpresa Idrizi graduated from the University of Florida with a Bachelor’s Degree in Sociology with a minor in Education. She then graduated from Florida Coastal School of Law. While earning her law degree, Shpresa interned for the Fourth Judicial Circuit in Duval County State’s Attorney Office.
Following graduation, she worked as a state prosecutor for the Sixth Judicial Circuit in Pinellas County State’s Attorney Office where she prosecuted thousands of criminal cases including those for DUI, traffic offenses, drugs, weapons and theft offenses, battery, domestic violence, violations of probation and other misdemeanors and felonies.
After three years of civil service as a prosecutor, Shpresa opened her own law practice, Shpresa Idrizi, P.A., where she further developed her criminal trial attorney skills as a criminal defense attorney, by representing and defending, numerous people for criminal charges ranging from traffic and misdemeanor offenses to felonies punishable by life in prison. In the process, Shpresa has acquired valuable trial experience and obtained extensive knowledge of both sides of the criminal justice system. In addition, she has committed to continuing her education through dozens of intensive seminars in specific aspects of criminal law.
At Roman & Roman, P.A., Shpresa focuses her practice in the areas of criminal defense, family law and personal injury. She is a member of The Florida Bar, the United States District Court for the Middle District (Tampa Division), and the Clearwater Bar Associations. In addition to her legal career, Shpresa enjoys her participation in the Greater Belleair Young Women’s Society, running, fitness training, and her two dogs and family.
